Namaste,
New and free to download below is a 30 minute, creative asana flow for when time is short and you want to be guided through your practice. I don't recommend it if you are newer to yoga (a podcast for you soon!) and please have a listen through so you can decide if it's for you and to have any props that you may need.
Please be aware that I only guide you into Savasana and I recommend that you have some music or a timer ready so that you end your practice in your own way.
My recently added guided meditation (also available below) would be a sweet addition to your session!
Enjoy:)

Happy Autumn! This week marks the Autumn equinox (23rd September in 2011) , a time for feasting and merry making with friends and family to celebrate the harvest and nature’s abundance.
At the equinoxes day and night are in perfect balance and they are a good time to stop and adjust. At the Autumn equinox we can prepare and set our intentions for the coming winter, it is the beginning of root energy, of rest and renewal in the dark. It is a good time to cleanse within and without – detox your body, clear out your living space and give away what is no longer relevant. This can help us begin the new phase with clarity.
My online class inspired by the seasonal celebration of Autumn equinox is a nourishing, balancing flow to mark this transitional time of year. Click below to download! If you would like a copy of the playlist I created to go with the flow please get in touch via mandy@yellowbeanyoga.co.uk.
Namaste.

*Please read through and then follow the link to download my summer solstice podcast at the bottom of ths entry*
Summer Solstice, a great celebration and turning point in the year - the time when the sun is at its highest in the Northern hemisphere and we have the longest day and shortest night. The sun reaches the peak of its power before it begins to wane and we move into the darker time of the year. Once again nature reminds us of the balance of the light and the dark and the inner and outer worlds. We are all entrained to the natural rhythms of the earth and connecting our yoga practice to these turning points in the year can help us to create balance and give us a richer understanding of our life.
This Summer Solstice inspired flow begins with Prana Mudra and the chanting of the Gayatri mantra (see below for transcription), the asanas include classical Surya Namaskar and the peak poses of Urdhva Dhanurasana (upward bow or wheel) and Koormasana (tortoise). Bhramari pranayama and the Managalam blessings chant (see below) complete the practice.
Please seek advice on anything you are unsure of and adapt the postures as you need to. Follow your breath and enjoy your practice.
Gayatri
Om Bhur Bhuvah Swah
Tat Savitur Varenyam
Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi
Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat
We meditate on the glory of light illuminating all the worlds. May our hearts and minds be illuminated.
Mangalam
Bhumi mangalam Udak mangalam
Agni mangalam Vayu mangalam
Gagan mangalam Surya mangalam
Chandra mangalam Jagat mangalam
Jiva mangalam Deha mangalam
Mano mangalam Atma mangalam
Sarva mangalam Bhavatu Bhavatu Bhavatu
Let there be tranquility on earth, in the waters, fire, wind, sky, sun, moon, planet. All living beings, body, mind, spirit, tranquility everywhere, and in everyone.
Namaste, Mandy.

Namaste,
I have created my first, full length vinyasa flow podcast inspired by the earth celebration of Beltain, the beginning of May celebrations. Traditionally a time our ancestors danced and made merry to celebrate the fertility of the earth and the union of masculine and feminine. We are surrounded by the vibrancy of nature everywhere as the movement of energy is really outward as we leave the spring season and flow into summer.
Beltaine is marked by green which abounds in nature now and is also the colour of the anahata chakra - the seat of love and compassion. A wonderful time to be outdoors more, to enjoy the increasing light and to feel that potency and interconnectedness of all of life.
Thus inspired, this full spectrum flow has a special focus on anahata chakra and includes pranayama and meditation. It gradually builds to the peak pose of Nataranjasana, the dancer's pose. As always, options are given to help you adapt the practices to serve you best. Remember your breath is your best guide.
I hope you enjoy and I look forward to your feedback!
Sunshine blessings, Om shanti shanti shanti.
